Sometimes the toughest part of writing a newsletter is creating or finding fresh, interesting content. In larger organizations, you can ask for articles or do interviews or features on people or groups. If that is not an option or you've worn out your welcome, here are some other ideas.
Interview or write a story about one of your customers. A positive or flattering feature probably won't hurt your relationship with the customer. Focus on some way that your products or services helped them achieve success and you have a winning formula.
Look for ideas from newsletters you receive and articles you read. You cannot legally copy other people's work without their permission but you can freely use ideas. A topic of interest in a magazine may give you an idea for a similar article in your own words for your newsletter.
If a really interesting article catches your eye, you can ask the author if you can use or quote the article. With proper credit given, the answer may be yes at low cost or no cost. You won't know until you ask.
