Graphic Files
We welcome originals in PDF or major layout formats including Quark,
InDesign. Publisher, Illustrator, Photoshop, Freehand, Word and others.
PDFs are preferred for compactness and WYSIWYG. If sending native files,
please ZIP or Stuff the file, fonts & art to reduce size when emailing. Call if you
need help.
Address Files
A good practice is to send only the info needed for the mailing. Smaller files
are easier to email. Excel (.xls), tab delimited (.txt) or comma separated (.csv)
files are best for email size. Fixed length formats and data base files from
dBase, Access, FoxPro, etc. may be too big for emailing. Call or email us, we'll
help you send the right info in the best format - no charge!
Starting a Data Base
If you are starting a data base for your organization, we recommend an Excel
or other spreadsheet. Set up columns of similar data: name, address, city, st,
zip, etc.  Word and other word processing programs are a bad choice because
the tables and tabs in Word tend to get scrambled easily by accident. The
columns in spreadsheets help organize similar data.
