We will do small mailings to save you time but we may not save you enough on postage on small mailings to pay for our services. Our rule of thumb is 500 pieces for letters, 1000 pieces for postcards and 200 pieces of flat mail. Flat mail is bigger than 6.125"x11.5" or thicker than .25" and has higher 1st class postage rates due to size and extra weight.
With an electronic list on a for profit mailing, we might save you postage of up to up to $.09 on postcards, $.25 per piece on letters and $.50+ per piece on flats. The bigger the mailing, the more we can save you in postage. The postage savings per piece will be less if you are providing labels or have already labeled the mail. For 200-500 letters, first class stamps might be your cheapest option. Call us to find out for sure.
An important question: what is your time worth? If being a mailing expert is not part of your job description, you might need our services. If you can be more productive for your organization by focusing on your job instead of on mailing, you definitely need our services.
If your mailings are big enough to impact your staff's time, it is probably time to out source mailing to us. A mailing party is not a great perk or team building activity. Your staff will be more productive and happier.
