A minimum of 500 pieces is required for discounts on presorted 1st class mail. For small postcards (4.25 x 6 or smaller), we check the discounts at the 1st class postcard rate and the bulk rate to see which is less for you.
Bulk mail is now called Standard Mail. A minimum of 200 pieces is required for postage discounts.
If you mail with us, you can use our permit so you do not have to pay for your own permit or pay the annual fee to keep it active. If you have a permit and want to use it, no problem. However, if your permit is out of the Tacoma area, it might be better to use our permit.
Nonprofit Rates - The USPS has a simple, no cost procedure to become certified to mail at non-profit rates. However, it takes some weeks to process so plan ahead. Once approved, you can mail on our permit at non-profit rates without having to pay for your own permit. If you have a non-profit permit from another post office, there is a very quick process to enable us to mail for you on our permit at non-profit rates.
